Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014 ~ Family fun and celebration

Randy and Helen out in the court yard. A very beautiful cool morning.
After celebrating Mass with Fr. Stuart Smeltzer, we strolled around the lovely Via Christi complex enjoying the springtime decorations of the residents. The Chapel was very beautiful! Randy had just enough prints of 'Jesus of Nazareth' to share.

Grandpa pa filled eggs for a 'surprise' when the little ladies returned home.
We had fun hiding the eggs in their front yard before heading to Mass.

'Palm curls are very easy to make'. Dampen palms and place in zip lock bag over night. Next, Tape end onto a pencil, cane or broom and wind gently and tightly down taping the end. Let dry over night and 'tada!'

An Easter Sunday son's kiss.

Glittering all sorts of art is something I really enjoy. It's the sparkle that I'm after for sure. Tooth picks and very small paint brushes are handy.
Happy Easter Tide to you and yours!
Palm roses are a bit challenging however when you get going it's hard to stop.
I'll provide a web site link on 'how to' very soon.

We pray you have a wonderful blessed Easter!

'Living in the Presence of God' a special book for my Lenten Journey

'Living in the Presence of God' by Brother Lawrence is a little book with very BIG inspiration. Unfortunately I haven't had spare time to share blogging each day. My journey through Lent has been enlightened by Brother Lawrence's book and many other things. I am blessed how I've been tucking it into my purse everyday for the last couple of weeks and have enjoyed being enlightened by the words on each page. More sharing to come about this inspiration....
May you feel the presence of God today and the coming Easter Tide.

Lenten Journey - Day 30 April 3

'To the world you may be one person
however to one person you may be the world'
My gratitude is the word 'thank you' in 10 different languages ' to thank dear friends who gave the gift of time and love offering 'prayers' and 'thinking of you cards' to my sisters Mary and Cathy. Some of you, I accidentally missed sending you the  e-mail and you still prayed. My sisters have been VERY touched and cared about. My little sis Cathy told me that she really wanted to write a note back to each one of you. They both are such sweet hearts. If you'd like to know them a little more...visit my Lenten Journey posts Days 15 and 16. And don't hesitate to ask for my prayers or for me to send a card when needed. Love makes the world go round.
 1) Bedankt!
2) Gracias!

Lenten Journey - Day 29 April 2

'Benedict our beagle'
Don't be fooled by his very short legs because he can catch rabbits.
Why he won't chase the cats off?? I just don't know.
1. Thankful to discover the first daffodil under our Sacred Heart statue.
2. I'm so grateful that I remembered not to forget to say 'thank you' for an invitation from dear friends.
3. Thankful that rain may be coming soon. We need rain so very much right now.
4. Very grateful for courage to 'come clean'. It's kinda like being in a good bubble bath, admitting something that I was sorry for. Forgiveness such a great gift to receive.
5. Thankful that I finally snapped a photo of 'Benedict our beagle looking at me'. He is so funny looking and doesn't like getting his picture taken.
6. Thankful for a good nights sleep.
7. Continued gratefulness for my 'Jesus Calling' book by Sarah Young.
8. Thankful to decide upon wordage for my 'The Church' talk for Outside Kairos.
9. Grateful for the sense of hearing. Right this moment I'm listening to the sound of a train in the far distance.
10. Very thankful for being in married love. It's a wonderful gift from God.
Spring's first farm daffodil. Thank you my Lord God!
