"Thank you Joyce Meyer Ministries!"

Joyce Meyer is one of my favorite evangelists. For seven years I have been one her biggest fans, learning so much about God's love, forgiveness and mercy. Unfortunately I haven't been blessed to attend one of her conferences...yet. Years ago I was hopeful to take a 'girls trip' with my two daughters to St. Louis, MO. It would have been on my OBIG (Once Before I Go) list that I just recently started. In God's prefect timing we will go and it will be my tribute to Joyce Meyer  Ministries. "Joyce, thank you for giving me a life jacket" are my chosen words of affirmation to this fine lady.

Sorry, I learned that I can't rotate videos...view sideways. :-(
Hip, hip hooray! Thank you techie Darian!!
Just the other day Joyce shared that she said "If only the bad stuff didn't happen to me. My life would have been so different." She went on to share that because she made her mess her message, her messages (many of my life trails and experiences) have and continue to help millions of people all over the world."

I'm very honest to say that I'm one of those millions of people who this wonderful lady has helped, inspired with encouragement to enjoy the life that Jesus Christ paid the price for everyone to have. When people go through any kind of emotional pain...it's a very scary time of loneliness. Trusting God is a gift I've been blessed with through Joyce Meyer's messages. She helped me to understand the importance of learning who I am in Christ and this is being accomplished studying the Bible. Years ago I read that the Bible was God's love story to the world...like BIBLE (Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth). The love story has a happily every after message if we apply the principal messages. The answer to every one of life's questions is revealed in Scripture. If one was to ask me what one of my most favorite Bible Scripture's is I would share John 10:10. It's one I hang on so tight as I've heard that 'joy' is the evidence of God which is a fruit, like love, always in season. This past few weeks I've been studying 'Beauty for ashes' and it is amazing! I do wish, with God's provision to become a partner so that I will be there helping others as she's been helping me, through partners.

As I listened and watched a Joyce Meyer television program reflected from a mirror to view at my kitchen table as I sewed 'prayer flags' for Camp Grandma that summer morning, I just had to giggled over the creativity God has blessed me with. Because my sewing machine couldn't be moved into the TV room very easily, I fixed up a live 'telecast' into the kitchen. The above photo and video (which I haven't figured out how to rotate clockwise yet) were taken months ago. I'm not too techie so to speak but I'm getting there. I'm on my way and I'm OK. Today is Saturday after Thanksgiving.  I'm blessed to have the gift of time to share a post 'Thankful for Joyce Meyer!'. Oh, yes I am very thankful for family, friends, the Saints, animals, faith and many other things as nature, stars, the ocean... This morning my insight of appreciation of Joyce Meyer Ministries.

If you are trying to get though a tough time, please go to your nearest book store and purchase one Joyce Meyer's many books, Cd's or DVDs. or just visit her website -

'A Charmed life'

'A Charmed Life' My sister Mary redrew this sweet picture with colored markers. I loved how she finished the art with a different colored marker or could that be a shadow? The original art by wonderful whimsical Mary Engelbiet Mary E./s art never fail to make my heart smile.
Most people who know me...know I enjoy crafting very much. Not too long ago I created a special gift for my friend, Ann. She is my husband's second cousin and I'm have been so blessed knowing her and discovering all the things in our lives that we share a common bond. Ann is one of the most charmed...charming ladies I know. If you know her, you know exactly what I'm talking about. You may be wondering what this has to do with spiritual insight?

As I worked on my project I could not help to reflect on the numerous ways we have a  charmed life when we have both faith and love for God. If He isn't already, Jesus can be your best friend as well as your King. He is perpetually with us...everywhere...never to leave us.

The best is yet to come!

A Cursillo 'Mussie Tussie' I created 'quickly'
for my Janet friend who just lived a Cursillo walk this past weekend.
The rooster charm may give her a smile.

The silk roses look so real! The little pink note 'The best is yet to come!'
That's for sure.

This I found & gave to my friend Barb W.
Barb has a very special story
about a purple cape. In a nut shell  ~
how God' love is PURRRRRRRRRRRfect.

Hope

One Christmas I deeply pondered the meaning of the word hope About a week later I discovered this bird nest. It somehow defined the word 'hope' for me which is 'believing that something good is going to happen regardless of the circumstance'.
One morning I discovered something very unusual, a bird nest was hanging over up over the middle of our South country road, over (15 feet high?) for months. I was observing it. It dangled through wind, rain and snow. Even my husband was amazed.
It is a happy thought that maybe eggs hatched & little birds flew away when it was time. Having taken this little photo reminds me to 'hang on' and have hope.
The winter in Kansas was a long one. Many ups and downs, one down was was parting with my beautiful grand-dog Mocha. He & I were buddies taking so many walks up and down our country roads sometimes one cold winter days. We love the outdoors...I'd be daydreaming with my head up in the clouds (literally) and well when he was feeling good he was always a few steps ahead of...trying to keep pace with Benedict our very chubby independent beagle.

Losing Mocha to this life was so difficult. I truly understand now how a person can become attached to their pets. Can you believe before Mocha I didn't have any animal 'inside'? Mocha was the exception and I really loved him....long hair & the not so good at all dog smell which came with the package. I dealt with it and surprised myself a lot. There is a season for everything and my time to let go of my grand dog has come and gone. On my dresser I keep a picture of Mocha. We have many memories and knowing that, without a doubt, Mocha loved me too, gives me comfort. Even more than that...I'm believing Mocha is with his master and Our Lord. Check out Rainbow bridge to give comfort to those who love their lost furry friends.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
Thank you God for giving us faith, hope and love. Priceless gifts to both receive and give when the opportunity arises.

Blessed,
